1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DropReceipt ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

DropReceipt provides a cloud-based platform for managing receipts, tracking expenses, and organizing trip-related financial information. The Service includes features for uploading receipts, categorizing expenses, generating reports, and managing trip budgets.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
  • Upload or transmit any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights
  • Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law

5. Content Ownership and Rights

You retain all rights to the content you upload to DropReceipt, including receipts, expense data, and trip information. By uploading content to our Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service and its original content (excluding user-uploaded content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DropReceipt and its licensors.

6. Subscription and Payment

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each Billing Cycle unless you cancel it
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription fees with reasonable notice

7. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial for new users. At the end of the free trial period, your account will automatically be charged for the subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends. We reserve the right to modify or cancel free trial offers at any time.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your data, which we will provide in a standard format.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. DropReceipt makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DropReceipt, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

11. Data Backup

While we maintain regular backups of user data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of your content. We are not responsible for any loss of data or content.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DropReceipt operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
